curatorial statement
To connect and expand the online exhibition with additional works of the digital realm, as well as drawing our theme back to the AFK (away from keyboard) world, room69 hosted a performative musical intervention within three high energy DJ sets, that experiment with genre deconstructingpost-club and post-reality beats.
The video piece documenting this extension and outburst of subculture is remixed with a tour of the digital exhibition in a durational video piece of approximately 4 hours.
